Meet at the Peak: 2014 Climb for Freedom: Organized by NASHI. Runs May 25, with registration at 1 p.m. and the climb at 2 p.m., at Mt. Blackstrap. Raising awareness of human trafficking in the world and helping girls and women find hope and freedom. Activities for children, a post-climb barbecue and prizes. Individuals cost $30, families cost $50 and businesses and teams cost $100. Funds raised will go to an educational live-in centre for at-risk youth in Ukraine. Lift Us Up: Presented by the Choir of Augustana and St. Timothy’s. On May 25 at 7:30 p.m. at Augustana Lutheran Church, at 1201 Broadway Ave. A concert of sacred choral music. Proceeds from a free-will offering go to the congregation’s Accessibility Project, which will make the building wheelchair-accessible. Donations of $15 or more are eligible for a tax receipt.
