Bad boy Brown backtracks on slamming ex-girlfriend

- DOUG CAMILLI

Yesterday I told you about Chris Brown’s vulgar onstage denunciation of Karrueche Tran. But he was hardly done insulting her when he apologized.

He believed she’d cheated on him and with rival Drake. But now he’s regretful, via Instagram: “Being young and dumb is one of my strong suits and emotional at best. I love hard and react impulsively … I am apologizing.”

And he’s boasting, too: “I live in a glass house and the same (rude word) that makes me great also is my curse … I don’t care how my image looks … I’m still gonna be the best at what I do. I just want baby girl to know I apologize!”

Drake got into the act with a sly insult, telling TMZ.com Tran is not his type.

Speaking of Drake: the Canadian rapper can’t seem to get along with anybody (except the ladies, I guess). In a 4 a.m. brawl outside a Miami Beach club Monday, “Drake definitely got the (rude word) kicked out of him,” by Sean Combs, Bullet magazine editor Ray LeMoine told the New York Daily News.

Combs, who has now apparently abandoned all the P. Diddy/Puff Daddy nonsense, was the clear winner, landing several solid punches, various witnesses agreed. (But TMZ.com says one punch.)

Either it was about something uncouth Drake said to Combs’ girlfriend or else it was a squabble about music rights, depending on which witness you ask.

Amal Alamuddin Clooney wore a baggy coat the other day. But that does not mean she’s pregnant, no matter what you read in the Daily Mail or at TMZ.com. George issued a denial and the Los Angeles Times amusingly shot down enthusiastic speculation of those two outlets, noting with photos the lady looked skinny on U.S. Thanksgiving, so there’s no way that coat was hiding a “baby bump.”

Oh, shut up: St. Bob Geldof tells the Daily Mirror Paul McCartney doesn’t sell enough records, which is why he was dropped from the latest Band Aid project.

“He hasn’t made the cut, what can I tell you?” Geldof said of the roster for his Ebola ditty. “The thing is, there’s only so many lines, so what do you do? … Then it’s who’s happening in America — that’s really important as sales are quantifiably more over there.”
