Getting your vehicle back on the road

- SCOTT LARSON

After 30 years on First Avenue, Ens Toyota Collision Centre has relocated to Venture Crescent.

“It is a state-of-the-art facility,” said collision centre manager Josh Minovitch.

The centre features a fullservice body shop with the latest equipment, and features almost 20 bays with separate areas for assessment, bodywork and painting. Shop staff do all types of insurance work.

“We are trying to relieve the customers of all the headaches associated with a collision,” Minovitch said.

The building was renovated to house the collision centre after the Toyota Lexus dealership moved to the auto mall in the south end of the city.

Ens marketing manager Ashley Quick said the new centre is almost twice the size of the one on First Avenue.

There is a customer lounge area with coffee and television. With the added space, they have been able to cut down on the time it takes for customers to get their vehicle into the shop. That helps retain customers while also bringing in new ones, Quick said.

“And about 65 per cent of our customers are repeats.”

One of the unique features is a dual lane drive-thru where a customer’s vehicle can be assessed in a warm environment.

Customers pull into the drive-thru where an appraisal is done, complete with pre-repair photos, and then time is set for the work to be done.

And when you come pick up your vehicle, it will have been detailed and parked inside ready to go, Minovitch said.

If a rental is needed, a vehicle will be waiting for the customer when he or she brings in a vehicle, and there is also a shuttle service.

The collision centre is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday.

Teamwork is at the core of a new real estate group, ESYXE Group at Century 21 Fusion.

Four agents — Sherri and Randy Singler and Jessica and Dan Betteridge — have joined forces to combine their talents to better serve their clients.

“We complement each other well,” Randy said of the partnership, which also features a full-time marketing director, Joshua Baker.

“I (work with) a lot of used homes and Jessica is more of a new home specialist,” Randy said. Sherri focuses on working with buyers and Dan looks after commercial and new home construction.

With an active market prospective sellers or buyers may worry about being lost in the shuffle. That’s where having a dedicated team, complete with a marketing specialist, comes in to make sure clients gets the attention they deserve.

This allows the team to have marketing campaigns and expose properties in a number of different ways.

“It provides a value-added service to our customers,” Dan said.

The approach offers a level of exposure that no one else is doing, added Jessica.

The team also specializes in helping companies relocate employees to Saskatoon.

Besides finding a home, they offer services such as picking up the new employee from the airport or hotel and giving them an extensive tour of the city.

“We try to be more social, to show what’s happening now and in the future,” Dan said.

“We try to get every edge that we can,” added Randy.

The group merged from two separate locations to the new spot on Spadina Crescent, where they transformed a home into an office building while maintaining its charm.
