Woman charged in Muskoday homicide
Robyn Laura Ermine, 27, has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of Evan Tylan Bear, also 27, on Muskoday First Nation.
The accused and the victim were known to each other, RCMP stated in a news release. Both are from the Muskoday First Nation. Ermine is scheduled to appear in court in Prince Albert Monday at 9:30 a.m.
Police were called to a house on the reserve, about 150 kilometres northeast of Saskatoon, at 3 a.m. Saturday. Responders pronounced Bear dead at the scene.
The RCMP’s major crime unit, along with forensic investigators, police dog units, and general investigators from Prince Albert are all looking into the death.
