Rosin wins gold at Simplot Games

Rachel Rosin is returning to Saskatoon after earning a gold medal and a personal best time of 24:67 seconds in the 200m dash at the Simplot Games in Pocatello, Idaho, last weekend.

The Grade 12 Centennial Collegiate student’s time beat her previous personal best by a full second, and ties her for the second-fastest 200m time in Canada this season.

The Simplot Games are one of North America’s top indoor track and field competitio­ns for high school students and includes athletes from the United States, Canada, Mexico and Australia.
