Rosin wins gold at Simplot Games
Rachel Rosin is returning to Saskatoon after earning a gold medal and a personal best time of 24:67 seconds in the 200m dash at the Simplot Games in Pocatello, Idaho, last weekend.
The Grade 12 Centennial Collegiate student’s time beat her previous personal best by a full second, and ties her for the second-fastest 200m time in Canada this season.
The Simplot Games are one of North America’s top indoor track and field competitions for high school students and includes athletes from the United States, Canada, Mexico and Australia.
