Two goals by the United State’s Natalie Snodgrass spelled the downfall for Canada at the IIHF U18 Women’s World Hockey Championships on Friday night, as the Canadians lost 3-2 in overtime. Goals by Jaime Bourbonnais and Daryl Watts had Canada up 2-0 five minutes into the second period, but Alex Woken put the Americans on the board at 15:20 to cut the lead to one. That lead remained until eight minutes into the third period when Snodgrass scored to tie the game at two and eventually force overtime.
