Trulsrud leads Huskies to victory

Kelsey Trulsrud scored 20 points and earned 11 rebounds as the University of Saskatchewan Huskies women’s basketball team defeated the visiting University of Lethbridge Pronghorns 90-44 on Friday night. Backing up Trulsrud were Dalyce Emmerson and Laura Dally, who scored 19 and 17 points, respectively. The victory extends the Huskies winning streak to 11 straight games, and they remain the only undefeated team in Canada West. The Pronghorns meanwhile remain winless at 0-9. Saskatchewan and Lethbridge also met in the men’s game on Friday, however, scores were not available at press time. Both the men’s and women’s Huskies will take on the Pronghorns again on Saturday with the women playing at 6:15 p.m. and the men playing at 8 p.m. at the PAC.
