Schofield named to Canadian squash team

Saskatoon’s Summer Schofield has been the lone Saskatchewan athlete to make the 24-member Team Canada squash team. They will take on Team USA in the Battle of the Border in Niagaraon-the-Lake, Ont. from Aug. 4 to 7. The battle is a three-day development opportunity for some of Canada’s rising stars to represent Canada at a young age. Schofield finished sixth at nationals in May in the U13 girls event.
