SaskTel posted some big numbers in its 2015-16 annual report. Here are some of them:

2.2 The percentage by which SaskTel managed to grow its total revenue in the 12 months ending Dec. 31, over 2014.

30 million: In dollars, the dividend SaskTel paid to its shareholde­r, the Government of Saskatchew­an — impressive but far below its 2014 dividend of about $84 million.

80 The percentage of adult Saskatchew­an residents who have smartphone­s, only four per cent higher than in 2014, suggesting the market is close to saturation.

18.4 million: In dollars, the increase in revenue from SaskTel’s maxTV, Internet and data service, thanks to more customers and more revenue per customer.

2,500 Percentage increase in bandwidth available to SaskTel since 2011.

1,350 Number of SaskTel Select Wi-Fi sites around the province, which take the strain off its main wireless system and, by being exclusive to SaskTel subscriber­s, gives it a marketing tool that competitor­s don’t have.

106,390 Number of SaskTel maxTV subscriber­s at last count.
