TCU Place, Saskatoon’s Arts and Convention Centre, is very pleased to announce the 20th year of Premier Showcase. TCU Place is excited to have the Saskatoon Co-op Wine Spirits Beer as their title sponsor once again. This year’s Premier Showcase is two days only – Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 – so get your tickets fast.
The public is invited to celebrate the 20th year by enjoying fine wines, spirits and local cuisine one taste at a time. TCU Place is happy to have TCU Financial participating as a sponsor this year.
In celebration of the 20th anniversary travel sponsors CAA Saskatchewan Travel will be offering a chance to win a trip for two from Saskatoon to Kelowna on WestJet Airlines, four nights at a Best Western property, and a tour and tasting package at two Andrew Peller Ltd.’s Wineries the Sandhill Winery and Red Rooster Winery. Premier guests will also have an opportunity to win shopping sprees at the Midtown Plaza worth up to $4,000.
New this year, the public will have the opportunity to vote Best in Show for their favorite wine and spirits that aren’t currently listed in Saskatchewan to receive an allocation listing at SLGA stores.
If you are a Scotch fan, you will want to visit the Saskatoon Co-op Specialty Scotch Bar. If you like friendly competition come taste and vote for Saskatoon’s Best Belvedere Vodka Cocktail. Local bartenders will compete for this prestigious title, presented by Belvedere and Charton Hobbs.
Two educational tasting seminars are back by popular demand – The Whisky Experience by Beam Suntory and Romance of Wine - Old
vs New World hosted by Vina Sophia Wine Inc. These seminars will be held an hour prior to show dates on Friday, Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. ($65.00 taxes in) and include entry into Premier Showcase.
Alternatively, tickets for the seminars can be purchased separate from the show at ($25 taxes in).
