Hoopla gold medal finals, Saskatoon team results

1A Boys: The Middle Lake Avengers defeated the Rocanville Rara Avis 100-62. Troy Marinka led the Avengers with 33 points.

1A Girls: Ann Ulmer’s 17 points helped the Kenaston Kodiaks to a 53-47 triumph over Middle Lake, which had won the previous three provincial titles.

2A Boys: The Saskatoon Ecole Canadienne Francaise Patriotes repeated as champions, winning 79-69 over the Maidstone Huskies. Regis Bikulo was the top scorer for Ecole with 24 points.

2A Girls: The Wynyard Bears made it three straight provincial titles with an 87-41 win over the Kinistino Blues. Alyssa Shannon had 27 points for Wynyard.

3A Boys: The Regina Christian Grizzlies posted an 83-54 victory over the Saskatoon Legacy Christian Eagles. Josh Amed, Dakota McBride Marean and Zach Biegler each had 16 points for the Grizzlies. Saskatoon’s Luke Donauer led all scorers with 37.

3A Girls: The Lumsden Angels won their second straight title, defeating Regina Christian 6958 Emma Ulmer had 25 points for Lumsden. Saskatoon Christian Cougars picked up the bronze after a 38-30 win over Indian Head. Taylor Ferster had 12 points for Saskatoon.

4A Boys: The Weyburn Eagles struck gold with a 103-80 victory over Moose Jaw Central. Paul Dionne led Weyburn with 21 points. The Bedford Road Redhawks lost 72-55 to Moose Jaw Peacock in the bronze medal game. Umar Ali had 11 points for the Redhawks.

4A Girls: The Melfort Comets knocked off three-time defending champion Moose Jaw Peacock, 6442. Piper Ingalls led the Comets with 11 points.

5A Boys: Gold: Regina Campbell Tartans 76, Regina LeBoldus Golden Suns 71. Bronze: The Bishop Mahoney Saints defeated the St Joseph Guardians 57-45 after a 35-15 second half. Aiden Smithen led the Saints with 20 while Alan Spoonhunte­r had 10 for the Guardians. Consolatio­n: The Centennial Chargers defeated the Regina Riffel Royals 60-54.

5A Girls: Gold: Holy Cross 67, Centennial 37. Bronze: The Tommy Douglas Tigers took bronze with a 70-69 victory over Regina Riffel. Sydney Tabin had 19 for the Tigers.
