Day not a lock to play in this year’s Masters

-

PGA Tour star Jason Day says he expects to travel to Augusta, Ga., Friday to start practising for the Masters, but could still pull out of the season’s first major, depending on his mother’s prognosis following surgery for lung cancer. Day says the surgery was deemed successful. Day says his mother Dening has been urging him to focus on golf, but the Australian, third in the World Golf Rankings, says that has been “really difficult” to do.
