Drug, confinement, sex assault charges laid in Meadow Lake
Three men from Edmonton face drug and confinement charges in Meadow Lake, while two of the same men are also charged with sexual assault.
According to RCMP, members of the Meadow Lake detachment responded Thursday around 3 p.m. to a home on Third Avenue West, where three men and a girl were found. The men were arrested at the scene, while medical treatment was offered to the girl, RCMP said.
Officers seized 56 grams of cocaine, along with marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Dylan Furaha, 19, is charged with forcible confinement, sexual assault, sexual interference, procuring a minor, assault with a weapon, possession of cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, possession of marijuana and two counts of failure to comply with an undertaking.
Faiser Aden, 21, is charged with forcible confinement, sexual assault, sexual interference, procuring a minor, assault with a weapon, possession of cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, possession of marijuana and proceeds of crime.
Josh Virgo, 21, is charged with forcible confinement, possession of cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and possession of marijuana. All three have been remanded and are scheduled to appear Monday in Meadow Lake provincial court.
