Teens charged with murder

Three teenagers are facing murder charges stemming from the death of a La Ronge restaurant owner.

Simon Grant died on April 15 after he was assaulted during an armed robbery at his business, Louisiana’s BBQ Restaurant.

Three males were arrested without incident Friday afternoon, according to an RCMP news release.

Austin Bird, 18, and two youths aged 17 and 14 are charged with second-degree murder, armed robbery, wearing a disguise with criminal intent, using an imitation gun and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. All three are to appear in court Monday. Postmedia News
