FYRE FIZZLES OUT
A US$100-million lawsuit was filed Monday against organizers of the inaugural Fyre Festival, a much-hyped music event in the Bahamas’ Exuma Islands that was cancelled Friday at the last minute. Organizers were accused of fraud, negligent misrepresentation, and breach of contract after concertgoers spent thousands to attend the event.
