1 Winter Festival

You might want to head to Wanuskewin Heritage Park on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. for the one-day Kona Wanuskewin Winter Festival. All sorts of fun cultural activities will be happening, including dog sled rides, voyageur games and many others.

2 Huskies Hoops

The U of S Huskies men’s basketball team has a one-game playoff tonight against the University of Victoria Vikings. The winner goes on to play in the quarter-finals. The loser is out. Tipoff is 7 p.m. at the PAC.

3 Blades play Raiders

In other sports action, our Saskatoon Blades play the P.A. Raiders Saturday night at SaskTel Centre. The fight for a playoff spot is heating up between the two provincial rivals. Game-time is 7:05 p.m.

4 Mass for Peace

The Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra presents A Mass for Peace on Saturday night at TCU Place’s Sid Buckwold Theatre. This should provoke a little introspection about the world around us.

5 WrestleMania

The world of professional wrestling returns to Saskatoon with the WWE Live Road to WrestleMania. Some of the biggest names from the squared circle, like Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman, will be in town tonight. The event at SaskTel Centre begins at 7:30 p.m.
