Myah Steinhauer enjoys some fun driving A motorcycle At the Saskatoon Exhibition on Wednesday. We Asked some young fairgoers to pick their favourite midway rides And this was Among them. The Ex Continues At Prairieland Park until Sunday.

In honour of Kids Day at the Saskatoon Ex, the Starphoenix spoke with various kids and their parents, and put together this list of the five best rides at the exhibition, most of which are located in Kidsville. The list is in no particular order.

The Saskatoon Ex runs until Sunday. Ride coupons can be purchased on the midway, or you can buy a wristband for $49, which allows you to ride all day for one day. All rides have height requirements for safety.

1. Charlie Chopper

Perfect for younger children, Charlie Chopper offers a chance to ride around in a miniature helicopter. Passengers “fly” around in a circle, without going incredibly high off the ground. Charlie Chopper requires five tickets to ride.

2. Motorcycles

If helicopters aren’t for you, try a ride on a miniature motorcycle. Much like Charlie Chopper, the motorcycles also take passengers around in a circle, without being too high off the ground. The motorcycles require four tickets to ride.

3. Spring Ride

For the young ones, or those who may be afraid of heights, Spring Ride is a smaller version of the Mega Drop, located in Kidsville. Although not as selfexplanatory as the Mega Drop, Spring Ride takes passengers up to the top, then drops them down in various stages. Spring Ride requires four tickets to ride.

4. Ferris Wheel

You can’t go wrong with a ride on the Ferris Wheel, a fair classic. Although not as big as the Giant Wheel on the main midway, the Ferris Wheel is still fun for the whole family, and offers a view over the exhibition grounds. The Ferris Wheel requires six tickets to ride.

5. Vertigo

More commonly known as the swings, Vertigo takes passengers up high into the air on swinglike seats and spins around. Like many others, this ride is maybe not for people who are afraid of heights. Vertigo requires six tickets to ride.
