Striking over non-closures

Metalworkers unions in Italy’s Lombardy region said they would strike to protect their members’ health because a government decree shutting many businesses due to coronavirus contained too many loopholes and exceptions. The unions said the list of companies that can stay open “has been excessively extended, covering areas of dubious importance” and allowing firms “excessive discretion.”
