In the span of three days, Damien Malcolm Mcculloch was caught publicly masturbating in two different Saskatoon locations — on a couch in an alley and in the lobby of a condo.

After his second arrest he told officers he had just used crystal methamphetamine and it made him “very horny.”

Last month, during what was scheduled to be a bail hearing in Saskatoon provincial court, Mcculloch told Judge Bruce Bauer he wanted to stay in custody.

“I have my reasons,” he said. He pleaded guilty to two counts of committing an indecent act and one breach of probation.

Court heard police were called to an alley behind Avenue I on Feb. 10 after someone reported people having sex on a couch covered in “lewd markings.” However, Mcculloch was alone when police arrived.

He was released on probation. Three days later, he was found masturbating in a Perehudoff Crescent condo complex, wearing only a balaclava.

The Crown argued for a sixmonth jail sentence followed by an 18-month probation order, including a condition that Mcculloch not return to the Erindale neighbourhood condo.

Sentencing was adjourned until March 18 to allow Bauer to review

Mcculloch’s pre-sentence report. According to court information, Mcculloch was sentenced to 114 days, or just less than four months, in custody, followed by a 16-month probation order.

Mcculloch gave one-word answers when Bauer pressed him about his life. He admitted having a drug addiction and said he used to be a general manager for a “Fortune 500 company” in Toronto.

When asked why he came to Saskatoon, Mcculloch said he has no family or support anywhere else.
