Fatal blast damages hit $600K

The home explosion that left one person dead over the weekend caused an estimated $600,000 in damages to all involved properties, the Saskatoon Fire Department says. The cause of the explosion remains under investigation.

Saskatoon police confirmed Monday that the deceased was the 59-year-old man who lived in the home. “Investigators do not believe foul play is involved,” the police service said.
