Three face charges in death of Carnduff man
Two men and a woman charged in connection with the death of a 52-year-old Carnduff man made first appearances in Regina provincial court on Monday on murder charges. An injured Robert Henry Fuchs went to the Pasqua Hospital on Friday, where he later died. Police said they had launched a death investigation, which was confirmed as a homicide probe on Saturday. On Monday, police said three people had been charged. Marley Dawn Mcarthur, 35, Richard William Snyder, 36, and Anthony Allan Rus, 24, all of Regina, are jointly charged with second-degree murder. Mcarthur and Snyder are each individually charged with breach of undertaking, and Rus is also charged with a breach of recognizance. All three appeared in court on Monday morning, although
Rus — who reportedly hung up on the court after a phone was brought to him at the Regina jail — was ordered to be brought to court in person in the afternoon. During the afternoon appearance, Rus responded, “Yeah, sure,” when asked whether he wanted to speak with a lawyer. His charges were set over to June 28. Snyder and Mcarthur's appearances were brief, each asking to speak with a lawyer from Legal Aid prior to their next appearances, also set for June 28.
