Rose Country Ribs are the centrepiec­e for this menu.

The ribs are prepped with a sweet-and-savoury rub seasoned with paprika and dry mustard before being slow-roasted on the grill. Afterward, the ribs are finished with a crowd-pleasing sticky and tangy glaze made with honey and apple cider vinegar. Make sure you have lots of napkins handy.

Our simple potato pancakes are the perfect complement to this hearty meal. Be sure that the potatoes are well-drained so the pancakes are crisp, not soggy. If there isn't space on your barbecue, these can be easily made on the stovetop.

Along with sour cream, our homemade apple sauce makes a delicious complement to the potato pancakes. While the packaged variety may be more convenient, nothing beats warm apple sauce straight from the stove.
