ASSESSING THE WEST

Murray Mccormick has made it a point to invest in the West. The Regina Leader-post's veteran football writer has spent the past few weeks assessing the CFL'S five West Division teams. The result is a five-part series that continues today with a look at the Edmonton Elks. The B.C. Lions were previewed on Tuesday, followed by the Calgary Stampeders on Wednesday. The previews will also include the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (Friday) and Saskatchewan Roughriders (Saturday).
