TRIVIA AN­SWER: (From July 12) For­mer Stor­mont MP Lionel Chevrier laid the cor­ner­stone for the new fed­eral build­ing (now the pub­lic li­brary) on Nov. 1, 1954. Chevrier had re­signed his seat to be­come the first pres­i­dent of the St. Lawrence Se­away Author­ity.

TRIVIA: This fu­ture coun­try mu­sic leg­end gave a per­for­mance at the Bob Turner Memo­rial Cen­tre in the 1960s. He died in 1988 at age 52. In 2002, Bill­board Mag­a­zine listed him No. 74 of the top 600 record­ing artists.
