The Winchester District Memorial Hospital ( WDMH) was not amongst the hospitals named by Cancer Care Ontario to have possibly administered less than desired amounts of chemotherapy drugs, although the Cornwall Community Hospital was on the list. The WDMH cancer clinic is the largest satellite in the region and saw 2,373 patients last year.

Community Living Glengarry launched their Bike Buddy program recently, which will allows community members access to Duet Bicycles, which are bicycles with fully detachable wheelchairs.
