Cana­di­ans down Colts

Carl­ton Place Cana­di­ans jumped out to a 2-0 first pe­riod lead and never looked back in a 6-2 vic­tory over the Colts at the Ed Lum­ley Arena Thurs­day night.

Ethan Mul­hearn and Justin Mcrae scored the Colts goals (both of which came on the power play).

The Cana­di­ans out­shot the Colts 45-17 with Mike Carr suf­fer­ing the loss in goal. The Colts record falls to 6-9-0-2 for 14 points and into an 8th place tie in the CCHL stand­ings. The Corn­wall Toy­ota Hard­est Work­ing Player of the game was Kon­nor Maccormick. The Wendy’s Restau­rant 3 Stars were First Star An­drej Hromic (CP), Se­cond Star Ben Tup­ker (CP) and Third Star Har­ley Michaels (COR).

The Colts re­turn home next Thurs­day, Oc­to­ber 25th to host the Hawkes­bury Hawks. Game time is 7:30pm at the Ed Lum­ley Arena.
