No more celebrating

Sentinel-Review (Woodstock) - - OPINION -

Because of the Liberal commitment to the Paris accord on climate change, Canada won’t be celebrating Christmas in 2019.

We won’t be able to give coal to the bad kids as the burning of coal contributes to climate change.

Santa’s reindeer won’t be able to travel as the methane gas they expel when farting adds to heating of the planet.

No yule log will be burnt in the fireplace for warmth and romance.

The centre block of the Parliament is shutting down for 10 years for renovations to prevent all that hot air from question period escaping into the atmosphere.

What’s the world coming to? Good job we still have our memory of Christmases past. Ken Faust Mitchell
