Louis Vuitton Opens “Volez, Vogez, Voyagez” in New York

Louis Vuitton opened its celebrated “Volez, Vogez, Voyagez” exhibition at the former American Stock Exchange in New York in October (on through January 7), and Sharp was on hand for the festivities. Curated by Olivier Saillard and designed by legendary Canadian opera director and set designer Robert Carsen, the exhibition retraces the history of the luxury fashion house and its namesake founder, while displaying trunks, bags, and clothing from the company’s archives dating back to the 1850s. After the official opening, guests (including Alicia Vikander, Michelle Williams, Jaden Smith, and LVMH Chairman and CEO Bernard Arnault) celebrated at Pier 17, with cocktails, canapés, and a DJ set from Mark Ronson.
