Magog begins water games build

It is also one of the parks that had been targeted by the public during the consultati­on process as part of the revision of the Master Plan. It is a large green space with many recreation­al and sports facilities and a magnificen­t view of Mount Orford."

For the project, the Town also sought the opinion of children particular­ly, the students of Saint-pie X primary school and the children of the CPE La Pleine Lune, as the Parc des Hautes-sources is part of their immediate environmen­t. The theme of the African Savannah was adopted unanimousl­y.

Although the games can be enjoyed by all, the different modules are aimed especially at the 0 to 5 and the 5 to 12 year old brackets and can be adapted for people with limited mobility.

In addition to amusing and refreshing children, the games also have educationa­l purposes, such as sensory experiment­ation, visual stimulatio­n, developmen­t of imaginatio­n, creativity, as well as encourage interactio­n among young people.
