Pet Of The Week — Gamelle

-

Hello! I am a really nice middleaged (about 7 years old) lady with beautiful white fur and a calm, happy, agreeable personality. Three years ago I arrived here because my owner died, but I was adopted almost instantly by a great country family. Sadly they must also say goodbye to me because they are moving where they can’t take me.

They say I am great, great, great and get along with babies, kids, cats, dogs, and farm animals! So if you’re at the time in your life when you would like an uncomplicated, easygoing, loving canine in your life then come and check me out! I live at the SPCA Montérégie, 178, ch. du Vide, Ste-angèle-de-monnoir (exit 37 on autoroute 10). Adoption hours are 2-4 p.m. on Thursdays and Saturdays.

Let us stay home safe inside our homes, and also be sure to keep the doors closed and be vigilant whenever you do open one. We dogs have a tendency to “bolt” when scared and it could be right out the door between your legs! Very often when we have bolted we seem to have some sort of amnesia and can't retrace our steps. Even when home is not even very far away, we don’t seem to recognize landmarks (smells!) — our senses get scrambled. Good ID on us is a must at all times and would certainly help us to get “back into your arms!”

Enjoy the holidays — the festivities — happy and safe!
