Lennoxville Business Association cited for self-promotion
At the Hotel Château Laurier Québec, participants were able to attend four workshops addressing territorial marketing issues in rural as well as urban areas. No less than 20 speakers shared their knowledge and experience under the theme “The Grand Seduction in the Age of territorial marketing.
At a Gala of Excellence Thursday, the award was given to the City of Sherbrooke, Lennoxville Borough which has “distinguished itself among the 16 other candidate cities.”
The Lennoxville Business Association was created to remobilize the community through its Explore Lennox project, and the setting up of various subcommittees through the action committees, and the team has made it possible to better allocate human, technical, and financial needs. In 2017the group focused on the development of the rich downtown core.
The Organization Award was awarded by Olivier Legault, Project Coordinator at Rues Principales, and recognizes the importance of building and maintaining a highly representative local partnership. It highlights the organizational mechanisms, the collaborative and efforts undertaken, and the quality of the involvement of the partners in the field. It is also an opportunity to emphasize the pride and sense of belonging of citizens towards their living environment.
