A 64-yard pass and catch from Stephen Casey (Boucherville, Que./champlain College St-lambert) to Cecil Belanger (Langley, B.c./langley Secondary) midway through the third quarter seemingly swayed the momentum in the favour of the Bishop's Gaiters. However, they were unable to capitalize and the St. Francis Xavier X-men answered back en route to a 27-14 victory in Atlantic University Sport (AUS) Football on Saturday in Antigonish, N.S.

LACROSSE Gaiters Fall in CUFLA Playoff to Excalibur

The Gaiters fell 12-11 to the Trent Excalibur in overtime on Saturday night in a CUFLA Playoff action. Xavier Perron scored 4 goals to lead the Gaiters.

MEN’S RUGBY Gaiters Squeeze by Sherbrooke in playoff nail biter

Tyler Murphy (Bromont, Que.) converted his fourth convert of the game moments after Paul Gehrig (Palma de Mallorca, Spain/agora Portals) knotted the score on the final play of an RSEQ University men's rugby quarter-final between Sherbrooke and Bishop's on Sunday. Murphy's boot was the last official play and sent the Coulter Field fans into hysterics as he gave the Gaiters a 33-31 victory and a ticket to the RSEQ semifinal.
