- Record Staff

The Quebec Arts and Crafts Corporation in Estrie is inviting the public to the 28th edition of the Salon des métiers d'art Estrie Craft Show, which will take place from November 29 to December 3 at the Sherbrooke Exhibition Center, 1600 Plateau St-joseph Blvd. The Crafts Fair is a well-established tradition in the region and promises visitors great finds and interactions with more than 60 creators, all as enthusiastic to meet the public as to share their passion.

This year, the Salon des métiers d'art is presenting several creators from the Eastern Townships, joined by a few guest artisans from other regions of Quebec. This year, a wide range of original artistic works, many having both a utilitarian and decorative function, and whose soul has its source in wood, stone, clay, glass, metal, or textiles will be on view. The public is invited to live the experience of working alongside these works of art crafted with various techniques, both ancient and innovative, but which certainly cause surprising reactions.

The Estrie Crafts Fair is an opportunity to purchase beautiful pieces, but it is also an exceptional opportunity for meeting and exchanging with passionate creators. Presented in a warm and cozy atmosphere, the Salon des métiers d'art of Estrie is the largest showcase for professional artists in the craft trades in the region.

Fashion Avenue

This year, the organizers are offering L'avenue de la mode, gathering fashion and fashion accessory designers in the same sector.

Parking is free and there is an entry fee of $5 (Free for children under 16).

The Salon is open from Wednesday, November 29 to Friday, December 1, from 10 am to 9 pm and on Saturday and Sunday, December 2-3 from 10 am to 5 pm.
