Phil introduced our guest speaker Lynn Wood who is well known from CAB Rediker in Stanstead. The CAB serves many surrounding areas. Lynn spoke of the many CAB services available to seniors if you are lucky enough to be in their MRC boundaries. Following her talk Lynn had a toss game called Baseball Pouch. She divided the group of sixteen into two teams. A hit gave you a chance to grab a prize, but you may not have it long, as the next winner could take it away from you. Those left at the end of the game with their prizes were the winners, who were Lloyd Smith, Jean Cass, Jane Pierce and Eileen Dezan.

Congratulations to the winners and thank you Lynn for an exciting afternoon.

Thank you Norma for playing the piano in Ernestine’s absence.

A big thank you to Phil and Nancy for a job well done replacing Linda while she was visiting family and taking a well deserved holiday.

We would like to thank Le Bon-d, Guy Patry’s Tradition and Mike Crook from Ultramar for donating prizes for our games. Also to John for the little deer that often come through our door.

Don’t forget that in February we will meet on the second Tuesday, February 13. See you all then.
