Accident in TBL leaves community praying

An accident between a pedestrian and car occurred at the corner of Pine Street and Knowlton Road in Knowlton last Friday afternoon has left Christian Garon in life-threatening condition and the driver in shock.

By Monday morning the outpouring of prayers and good wishes while Garon continues to fight for his life has been staggering.

Well-known to the community simply as “Christian,” he and his friend Johnny Blanchard came to live in TBL many years ago during the movement of deinstitutionalization and have touched everyone’s lives with their ability to be autonomous, hard-working members of the community known for their kindness and sense of humour. Many have said that Knowlton has been a better place to live with these two men living here.
