New Deputy Director-general of Community Relations in Sherbrooke
Sherbrooke City Council has announced the appointment of Robert Doré as Deputy Director General of Community Relations. The appointment follows the reorganization of the Directorate-general, which began last May, and the retirement of Assistant Director General René Allaire.
With a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and specializing in municipal affairs, Doré has 27 years of management experience, including 19 in the municipal sector. Until recently, he held the position of Director General of the Municipality of Saint-augustin-dedesmaures, a position he held for eight years.
The new Deputy Director’s responsibilities will include the Police (SPS), Fire Protection (SPCIS), the Department of Maintenance and Roads (SEV), Sports Services, Culture and Community Life (SSCVC), Communications Department and relations with the four boroughs of the City of Sherbrooke. Doré will assume office on October 9.
