Saint- Herménégilde man charged with sex assault on minors
A43-year-old Saint-herménégilde man has been charged with a number of sexual crimes against two separate victims, after being arrested in Coaticook last Thursday for the sexual assault on a minor, sexual contact, incitement to sexual touching, and exhibitionism. He was charged last Friday for actions that allegedly took place over a number of years, ending in 2012.
Stéphane Charest appeared in a Sherbrooke court Friday to face the assault accusations. The identity of his victims is subject to a publication ban; they are no longer part of Charest’s entourage.
Charest was be back in court Monday for his bail hearing.
