Council agrees to buy new fire truck
The council voted unanimously in a special meeting Friday, Sept. 21 to buy a ladder truck for $1,113,065.
Present at the special meeting were Burcombe and councillors Ron Myles, Pierre Laplante, and Lee Patterson, according to the meeting minutes posted on the town’s website.
The town will take a loan of $850,000 payable over 10 years. The rest will come from the town’s surplus.
