La Maison Aube-lumière's thrift shop has been in existence since 2014 in the spring and fall. this fall, a total of almost $43,000 was raised by the hard work of a dynamic team of volunteers, led by Nicole Fortier. The reputation of the Friperie-boutique, the location of choice located (at the Place des Congrès) and the high-end niche that it has defined for itself are all factors that can explain this success.

"Our team of about 40 volunteers provided no fewer than 2,000 hours of work selecting, cleaning, preparing, and selling the clothes and accessories we were given. Our clients often come back year after year. We are very proud of this achievement," said volunteer coordinator Fortier.

The community's commitment to the work of Maison Aube-lumière is also considered to be a major factor in this success.

"It's moving to see people support our organization, despite requests for support from all sides. Whatever our business, we want to maintain a high standard of quality. People know that their contributions will be well used," added Marie Bécotte, General Manager of La Maison Aube-lumière. About l’aube Lumėre
