Author events, children’s activities, Spanish conversation classes, your library is more than ever at the heart of the community. This is notably thanks to the dedication of our new coordinator, Christian Collins. Perfectly bilingual, he is putting all his energy towards making the library an essential destination for Lennoxville residents hungry for new books, films, TV series, as well as stimulating programs and activities.

New this fall, the library now publishes a monthly email newsletter at the beginning of each month to keep users up to date about additions to the collection, news, and activities at the library. Haven’t been getting your copy? Make sure we have your correct email address next time you come to library. Paper copies of the newsletter are also available at the library.

Television Series Aplenty

In the age of Netflix and online TV series, we recognize that there is an increasing demand for high quality, compelling television. The library has a new display area featuring television series newly acquired on DVD. You will find a wide selection of new material like Narcos (seasons 1 and 2), Big Little Lies, This is Us, 13 Reasons Why, and the hit Québécois series Fatale-station and Faits Divers (Season 1).

And of course we also have the best new movie releases as well, and a vast catalog of kids movies. At $2 per movie, DVD rental at the library remains the best deal, and we are still the only spot in the neighbourhood where you can rent films and TV series. It’s up to you to take advantage.

New for the Holidays: The Unlimited DVD Rental Card

We know that during the holidays people love to gorge on films with their families, or rewatch their favorite shows all at once. We invite you to get our new “All you can watch” card, valid from December 11 through January 12. For the modest sum of $12, you can rent all the films and TV series you want during that period, with no extra fees! The usual loan rules will apply.

We don’t have the TV series that interests you? Have other comments or suggestions? Don’t hesitate to contact us at bibliolen@gmail.com, visit our website, call us at 819-562-4949, or drop in any time we are open.

Most of all, we wish you a very happy holiday season!
