ACLD representative from Bromemissisquoi participated in the Journées du Québec in Paris last weekend and gathered 150 applications to work for companies in the region. The event comes from an agreement between France and Quebec, now in its 19th edition.
The applications collected are directly related to jobs whose needs are glaring in the region. These include, for example, welders, electromechanical engineers, chefs, etc.
"The candidates did not come only from France, some had traveled from Belgium, Algeria and Tunisia to come and meet us," said Brome Missisquoi Industrial Advisor Benoit Lévesque.
Applications will be shared with companies in the region in the next few days.
