SAAQ volunteers join Operation Nez-rouge

-

The holiday celebrations will be in full swing in the coming days and Operation Nez-rouge is seeking the support of its volunteers, both new recruits and veterans, from across Quebec. A high turnout is needed to be able to meet the high demand expected for the weekend. To register as a volunteer in one of the 63 regions where the escort service is offered, simply fill out the registration form at Operationnezrouge.com and send it via mobile app.

The SAAQ and Operation Nez-rouge will be on the road beginning tonight

As a proud partner of Operation Nezrouge since its very beginnings, the Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ) would not miss its annual road excursion and as is the custom, staff members gather on the second Friday in December to train the largest group of employees across the country to participate in a drive-away evening. This year, 239 volunteers will don a red bib to join forces with Operation Nez-rouge to make the holidays safer, a record in recent history for a group of volunteers from one organization participating in the same evening.

"I am proud to see that, year after year, the SAAQ staff is faithful to the beautiful Operation Nez-rouge tradition. In fact, I challenge organizations and groups to participate in this vital and beneficial volunteerism, so that they too can contribute in their own way to road safety, "said Nathalie Tremblay, President and CEO of the SAAQ.
