Steve Hill to play the Cabaret Eastman

One week from today, on the night of Dec. 21, Blues/rock musician Steve Hill will be playing his last show of the year at the Cabaret Eastman.

Playing selections from his Solo Recording collection­s, Hill will work to live up to his reputation as a “one-man blues rock band.”

Over the course of the evening’s performanc­e, the audience can expect to hear Hill sing and play guitar while accompanyi­ng himself on the harmonica and playing the drums with his feet

Since 1997 the Trois-rivères-born musician has released 10 albums. In 2015 he won Blues Album of the year at the Junos for Solo Recordings, Vol. 2.

Christmas Party and Dance for all ages at the Bulwer Community Center, 254 Jordan Hill Road, on Friday, December 14, 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Santa will be there at 8 to hand out candy to the children. Christmas Sing Along: come one and all! Join in the singing of your favourite Christmas music, both sacred and secular, and enjoy a few Christmas stories and humour as well as seasonal refreshmen­ts.
