Sto­ry­telling for tod­dlers in the spot­light

The Coat­i­cook Pav­il­ion of Arts and Cul­ture will present the show "Tales for gourmet ears" on Sun­day, Jan. 20, at 10 a.m. This fairy tale show for chil­dren aged 3 to 7 will also ap­peal to par­ents and grand­par­ents.

Food lovers, did you know that when you eat a meal, you en­joy it with all your senses? Pre­sented by Marie Lupien-durocher, Ex­ec­u­tive Di­rec­tor of the Mai­son des arts de la pa­role, this show will ap­peal to all the senses, eyes, ears, nose, fin­gers, an taste buds. Through se­lected gourmet sto­ries, Marie of­fers a taste of var­ied ad­ven­tures where col­ors, sounds, aro­mas, tex­tures, and sweet treats criss­cross to amaze the imag­i­nary taste buds in a show in the purest tra­di­tion of sto­ry­telling.

Les avaleurs d’étoiles is a monthly pro­gram of shows for young peo­ple that com­bines sto­ry­telling, mu­sic, the­ater, pup­pets and shad­ows pup­pets in a tra­di­tional and lively ap­proach that sup­ports artists from the Es­trie re­gion. Each show of­fers an ac­tiv­ity of hands-on ex­plo­ration, mu­sic, and awakening of the senses in con­nec­tion with the show. The shows are pre­sented by Les Pro­duc­tions Muses et Chimères, a Sher­brooke cre­ation and artis­tic pro­duc­tion com­pany.

Doors will open at 9 a.m.
