Storytelling for toddlers in the spotlight
The Coaticook Pavilion of Arts and Culture will present the show "Tales for gourmet ears" on Sunday, Jan. 20, at 10 a.m. This fairy tale show for children aged 3 to 7 will also appeal to parents and grandparents.
Food lovers, did you know that when you eat a meal, you enjoy it with all your senses? Presented by Marie Lupien-durocher, Executive Director of the Maison des arts de la parole, this show will appeal to all the senses, eyes, ears, nose, fingers, an taste buds. Through selected gourmet stories, Marie offers a taste of varied adventures where colors, sounds, aromas, textures, and sweet treats crisscross to amaze the imaginary taste buds in a show in the purest tradition of storytelling.
Les avaleurs d’étoiles is a monthly program of shows for young people that combines storytelling, music, theater, puppets and shadows puppets in a traditional and lively approach that supports artists from the Estrie region. Each show offers an activity of hands-on exploration, music, and awakening of the senses in connection with the show. The shows are presented by Les Productions Muses et Chimères, a Sherbrooke creation and artistic production company.
Doors will open at 9 a.m.
