The Country Swingers will be playing every Friday night in January at the Edifice Queen Street (beside Shalimar Restaurant) in Lennoxville from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Everyone welcome.

3rd annual “Valentines” Country Music Appreciation Jam,

in Country Style, at the Burrough’s Falls Reception Hall in Ayer’s Cliff on Saturday, February 2. Live country music, a delicious buffet, several door prizes, all for just $20. Along with the amazing house band “Bobbi Dee and The Honky Tonk Rebels” will be our special guest and recording artists, Jean and Solange, plus some other musicians may stop by to Jam. Saturday, January 12, the Richmond Legion, Branch #15, will be hosting a Crib Tournament. Registration begins at 12:30 p.m., games start at 1 p.m. Cost is $5 per person. All are welcome.

January 13

Three Link Fraternity, Unity Lodge #8, IOOF, 4150 Route 147, Waterville (Huntingville), is starting the New Year with a revival of our all-you-can-eat Sunday Brunches, to benefit community projects, on Sunday, January 13 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, pancakes, toast, coffee, tea and juice. We will have take-out available. Just call 819-679-8493 and it will be ready when you show up. We also have a “family price”. Cribbage tournament to be held at the A.N.A.F. Unit #318, “The Hut”, 300 St. Francis Street, Lennoxville on Saturday, January 19 to benefit the Relay for Life team “The Bravehearts.” Registration is at 1 p.m. Everyone is welcome, come and support this worthwhile cause.
