Summertime Fun at TBL Wellness Picnic

very successful summer picnic for our seniors was held on Friday, August 23 on the grounds of the TBL Community Centre. The weather was most agreeable with plenty of sunshine and a light breeze. The trees provided just the right amount of shade for those who wanted it and for others, we had a good selection of colourful sunhats. Unfortunately, there were no prizes given for the bubble blowing contest as it was becoming quite lively but six lucky seniors, who had the winning numbers, took home a flowering plant. The delicious and ecofriendly box lunch, served by our volunteers, was prepared for us by Lenore Dudley of LD Catering and we were well entertained with a great repertoire by the musical duo, Squeegee. Thank you to our faithful and hardworking volunteers for a job well done.
