Jazz is a perfect example of why we should never judge a book by its cover. Stalky in build and firm in her stance, admittedly, she looks like she could be a bit of a toughie. In reality though, Jazz is just a big baby in search of a happy home where she will feel safe and loved and enjoy day, after wonderful day, spending quality time with her new family.

With us since mid-august, Jazz has settled into to her daily routine and anxiously awaits her morning and afternoon outings. When out and about she is engaged and happy. She loves her walks, not just for the exercise but also for the opportunity to spend some oneon-one time with the shelter volunteers who she has come to trust and love. She is a real people dog. Jazz is very good on leash but when walking along the road, she can be uneasy about on-coming traffic; she just needs calm but firm reassurance that she is safe. In the dog park, her favourite thing to do is sit next to us on the bench and cuddle. She is a bit of suck that way. Her adopter should expect to have to share the couch with her. :-)

Jazz is a 6 year old German Shepherd mix (maybe with American Bulldog). She tends to show little interest in other dogs but unfortunately, she cannot live with cats.

Jazz is a very sweet girl who is affectionate and loving towards people. More than anything, she just wants to be with someone and to be loved. To inquire about Jazz, please send an email to: frontieranimalsociety@gmail.com or better yet give our adoption coordinator Brenda a call at 819.876.7747 any day of the week between 8 a.m and 8 p.m.
