Featured pets: Loni, Skyler and Moonlight
It’s been a very busy time at the shelter with an overwhelming number of requests to help with homeless (or soon to be homeless) cats. We're hoping these three lovely ladies will be lucky enough to win over the hearts of a potential adopter. Loni and her two kittens, Skyler and Moonlight, were surrendered into our care due to allergies. Unfortunately, allergies is still one of the most common reasons that cats are given up.
Loni, with her beautiful silky and shiny coat and her soulful amber eyes is a calm, wise and serene young cat. She is sweet and friendly and welcomes affection. Loni loves to be pet and fussed over. She was a wonderful mother and she deserves a wonderful home. Although already a mom, she is barely out of kittenhood herself and is approximately a year old.
Skyler (tabby pictured on the left) is an outgoing, confident, curious and very athletic kitten! She loves to explore, and she is quite adept at turning even the most mundane activities into an exciting and fun adventure. Skyler loves to be pet and she is quick to roll over for a tummy rub. She’s a fun and outgoing kitten who will keep you on your toes.
Moonlight although a little more timid than her sister, is equally adorable. She is not quite as adventurous as Skyler but she does her best to keep up. Even when she seems a little hesitant and unsure, her curiosity usually gets the better of her. With her sister by her side, Moonlight is far more confident. She is sweet, friendly and affectionate.
We would love to have these two sisters adopted together. Not only will you enjoy double the cuteness, but kittens benefit from continued socialization and as an added bonus they keep each other busy and entertained. They will play, cuddle and snooze the day away. We offer a reduced adoption fee for kittens and cats adopted in pairs.
Skyler and Moonlight are 10 weeks old and will be ready for adoption shortly.
