CONCERT Lumières de Noël – Christmas Lights

The ”Ensemble Vocal Massawippi” (EVM) is happy to announce its Christmas Concert celebrating the Holiday Season on Sunday Dec. 12, 2021, 3 p.m. at Saint-patrice church in Magog.

The Ensemble, directed by Ms. Lise Gardner, will present excerpts of masterpieces of choral music by Mozart, Beethoven and Haydn along with seasonal selections arranged by contemporary composers such as Gjeilo, Rutter and Whitacre.

“Dansent les arbres”, an original work which has been created to promote the beauty and history of the Eastern Townships will be interpreted for the first time.

Founded in 2015, the Ensemble comprises 30 choristers and contributes to enhance the cultural and musical scene of the MRC Memphremagog and the Eastern Townships.
