“They’re such a great group of friends who have a love for retro music and they share their passion with the public. This is a great time to reflect on the amazing music of that era as the audience sings and dances along in a true Pigg Party atmosphere! It’s impossible not to appreciate their music,” Mckinven said.

Porter on tap (the Porter Family) presents an evening of classic country, mellow rock and a few surprises as they pay tribute to some of the greats like Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson and the Eagles. They get rave reviews everywhere they go. The show is on Saturday, July 15 at 8 p.m. -25$

On Saturday, July 29 at 8 p.m. admission 25$ The Piggery will present Vintage Wine with their musical tribute to the 60s and 70s. “The group will perform the radio hits. They will be a sure crowd-pleaser with much of the audience captured by the fascinating history behind some of the songs and artists.

It’s always an interesting and compelling show by Vintage Wine with history and nostalgia for a time gone by,” stressed Mckinven. Indeed, last year the drummer left everyone in awe of his singing talent. What a drummer and what a voice!

Mckinven continued talking about the Saturday, Aug. 5 show featuring Hakim. The show will start at 8pm and the admission is 25$.

“Hakim will make a triumphant return to the Piggery stage as his star rises exponentially! Having first graced us with his astounding voice last year, the young man is fast becoming a major figure on the entertainment scene locally.

His interpretations of Elvis standards are absolutely exceptional and his catalogue of other artists he sings is ever growing with Sinatra, Englebert Humperdinck just to name a couple and even some Blues thrown in. Nobody can sing a love song like he does. He is one to watch and we are certain his show will be the revelation of the summer for those who have not already experienced Hakim!” explained Mckinven.

Marie Claude Dubeau will perform her show (Songs Spanning Decades of Pop Vocalists) on Saturday, Aug. 12 at 8 p.m. -25$

“Marie Claude Dubeau has performed at the Piggery for over 10 years and has become a very close part of the Pigg family. She has the most sensational voice filled with the proper emotions and such sincerity.

She can perform some of the most vocally demanding and technically difficult songs from the greatest pop vocalists with finesse and ease,” commented Mckinven.

“From Barbra Streisand to the Bee Gees. For this year’s show she will also take on some classics form Canada’s beloved Anne Murray. Her duets with Joffrey Pinel are stellar and their chemistry on stage is unmatched and electric.”

Mckinven added that their gifts are musical but the pure approach and love for the craft and performing takes them and the audience to another level.
